Machine Learning Based Vehicle to Grid Strategy for Improving the Energy Performance of Public Buildings

Carbon neutral buildings are dependent on effective energy management systems and harvesting from unpredictable renewable sources. One strategy is to utilise the capacity electric vehicles, while renewables not available according demand. Vehicle grid (V2G) technology can only be expanded if there funding realisation that it works, so investment must in place first, with charging stations vehicles begin with. The installer of will achieve financial benefit or have an incentive vice versa for owners vehicles. paper presents V2G was developed implemented operational university campus. A machine learning algorithm has also been derived predict consumption costs investigated building. accuracy predicting found between 94% 96%, average less than 5% error predictions. achieved results show savings range 35%, potentials about 65% applied at all times. This demonstrated effectiveness carbon print reductions.
